作品「異人」發想靈感來自貳號對未知種族與異形的愛好。故事架空於人類與神祕種族「異人」共處的世界，雖人類對未知種族感到恐懼，但後來發現「異人」身上可取得偉大好處，因此增進種族和平共處，但看似安靜無波的事勢時事背後，也有毀壞氣力正蠢蠢欲動。
